Feminist Economist Nancy Folbre on Scandinavian Economies

Hi Everyone,

Nancy Folbre is a feminist economist who is a member of the Advisory Council of the Caring Economy Campaign.  She's a brilliant advocate for economic policies that support women and children.

Here's a great new article by her called "The Welfare Queen of Denmark" in which she takes a closer look at the economies of Scandinavian countries (particularly Denmark) and compares the economic results of their caring policies with those of the uncaring US model.
